I bought him at the end of the year and he had gained over 2 levels during the season, already.

I may have to cut my losses with Vickers and ship him out if it becomes too nasty this season. I've got $5M in the bank so I'm not hurting for money, but if I'm bleeding a ton of cash all season...

I'm a very cheap person.

My wage bill was just over 64k. It raised to 73k.

Er, I WAS anyway...

I started at 48,084, but they've shot up to 78,984, an increase of about 64%.

I think I have a plan right now to train my middle set of trainees to supernatural-titanic, and then keep them, sell off the others, and switch. That's about three levels, or roughly another season and a half.

I started at about $50,000, and should end up somewhere around $65,000-$70,000. Not real sure on the high end, as I've still 8 or so players left to update, though none of them should be going up that high, as they all mostly only got 1-2 levels of scoring, none higher than excellent, plus 2 defenders I bought...

I was at 80,000 -- now I'll be around 120,000. Hopefully I can hang in my series, or it could be a long year financially.

Still waiting for them to complete and apparently I'm not the only one.

The age updates are taking longer than usual this time. However, they are advancing so we just have to wait until it is finished. It is taking longer than usual because a change to the database structure that has been done last time - that change makes the site significantly faster the rest of the year, but clearly makes these updates somewhat slower than normal (there is no such thing as a free lunch, as they say). Some have asked why we do not close the site to speed it up - the answer is that in this case, that wouldn't help.

With 5 players left to update (2 trainees) not counted, I'm at $84k. Throw those 5 in, and it's around 90k.

Still under the IV average. w00t.

i was at 55k. right now (without a few 17 year olds getting updated yet) i am at 77,848. that is around a 70% increase i think.

biggest changes were a 10k to a 17k and a 3.5k to a 8.5k

currently @ 130k/week wages
increase looks to be about 40k.. so 170k/week

increase 23.5%
trained pm'ing for 8 weeks and passing for the rest.. which is why the damage wasn't too bad. another 15-16 weeks of passing and back to pm'ing for a season then off to something different..

I haven't checked my total, but I should be right around $80k. That will go back down toward $75k when I sell off my trainee keeper and old uber-winger and buy winger trainees, though. Pancho (my main keeper, titanic+) only went up by $15k to around $30k/wk, which I can certainly live with, I was afraid it would be more. My first winger trainee has been trained in pm so will probably not see a wage increase next year as I don't expect to get his winger skill above his PM skill.

We went from the ~100k range to ~155k range.

Uhg, how bad is it when one of your series mates just purchased a player whose salary is more than your entire team?

question:

How do I find my division's average wages? I know I've seen it before, but I'm not finding it right now.
With my wages all the way up to 25k (up from 21k last season), I somehow think that I am not going to be on the top 10 list of high-paying teams. Still, it would be nice to know where I am in the range.

Thanks

Old wages = $177,975
New wages = $236,728

I sold my mythical middie (~99K from ~54) and an excellent defensemen today, but two guys I just picked up total roughly 30K, so the damage would have been 70K worse had I stood pat. All in all, I'm glad I'm only $5,728 above average with a more balanced team I hope

increase of 32702 U$, or 26.8%

Not bad for a team that gives an average low rating of 230 and a possible high of 265...

Hmm.
I'm more than double the average wage for V, but still a bit under the average wage for IV.

Hopefully things will pan out this season and I'll land in IV for season 27.

Pre-Update I was at: $148 025 weekly
Post-Update: I am looking at somewhere near $210 000

I'm selling a little over 18k of that total salary too, but likely to replace it with a similiarly high salary (but American) player. So, with a 42% wage increase I'm not that upset. I guess I really should consider what to do with my top IM who is 25% of my wages though... hmmmm...

So I went from 64 148 last week to an expected 55 436 this week. I don't know whether to be happy because my wages is lower than most of us here or to be sad because, well, it is lower than most of us here.

I think I'll go with blissful ignorance and be happy for now.
