When does coach LS go down?

I know after a year as coach, their Leadership drops. This will happen every year until eventually they are Disatrous Leadership. When does this happen? I was keeping an eye on my coach during all the things that have reset (spirit, warning cards, supporters, aging, etc) but I did not notice my coach LS go down. Does this happen exactly 16 weeks from when he he was made the coach or is there some other timeframe?

I thought that it was on Mondays... I know I just replaced my coach on Monday -night- AFTER the updates for that reason. I did not, however, research it. I just went off what I remembered to be true.

For me, I had a particularly long run with my last coach. He was at passable for nearly 2 seasons.

My coach hasn't changed yet, and I promoted him to coach on October 11th, 2004.

Wow, I was under the impression that it was a lvl drop per season. Didn't know there was a chance for it to drop slower. So I guess the answer is they can drop whenever lol.

They're held in place for a season, and after that it's subject to random variation.

My coach lost his 1st level of leadership after exactly 16 weeks, but took 40 weeks to lose another level.

He has simply grown bored with the job.

Finally, once a coach reaches disastrous leadership (and that would typically take perhaps 10 seasons for a coach starting with solid leadership), the decay starts hitting his trainer skills instead of the depleted leadership. Let us underline that the decay is very slow, although it will go somewhat faster for coaches with very high leadership, so a solid leader might go down to passable after 1-2 seasons (more likely after 2 seasons or more though).
I think the Monday thing you remember is for players 30+, their skills go down on Mondays.

Yes, the monday thing applies to players, but I believe to coaches as well (again, just going by memory).

I didn't understand that he was asking about the 1 season guideline. I thought he was asking about the actual day during the week that a coach's leadership would decrease if it was time for his decrease.
