Coaching/Staff Analysis
Has there been any analysis done on coaching and staff ratings? When is their prime age? A study of age and rising attributes and age vs. falling ratings? Likelihood of the coach/scout re-signing if the team is successful or if the team performs poorly?

I didn't even know they could resign! Do you mean re-sign? I know they retire at some point in their 70s.
And it seems to me that there isn't any guarantee of abilities increasing anymore, particularly with scouts. I've had two scouts, got them quite young (mid 30s) who never increased over a ten year span. They were both already pretty good, for instance the last guy had Good ratings on everything but K (poor) and RB (VG) DB (VG). Coaches seem to increase their stats a bit more reliably, anecdotally speaking. |

yep he meant re-sign.
Does a coach sign a contract based on the highest bid only? Or if a coach was previously on your team will he likely re-sign with you or still go with the highest offer? Does coaches rating decline or improve based on team record or Age? Last edited by jbmagic : 05-25-2005 at 10:31 AM. |
