in this thread you can:

1. post about recent happenings in your life/family
2. discuss how been doesn't even sound the way it looks, and how it pisses Shorty3281 off. how ya bean?

since my brother and i have moved out, my mom has converted my brother's room into a workout room, painted it blue, put a treadmill, bench, tv, and desk in there. i helped paint, so naturally it looks good. also a sweet picture of michael jordan's career timeline is in there.

hows about you, eh?

I'm going to go feed my daughter soon, check the laundry and then hit the shower. My son will be getting up anytime from his nap. My wife comes home in about an hour - she's going to make burgers tonight and we're going to watch Ocean's 12. Tomorrow we're having a big yard sale, which I get to avoid entirely by working.

I hope to leave work in less than 2 hours so we can get on the road for Jacksonville. Looks like I'm going to miss Hope & Faith, which is a real bummer ( ).

We're going over to Flasch's GF's neighborhood to buy a new car. For me.

My grandmother died last Friday after having a heart attack. It was three days before she was to start chemo treatments for breast cancer. Things have been better.

I had a job interview on Wednesday. I showed up in a dress shirt and tie, and everyone working there was wearing t-shirts... I felt way outta place. It was at fanball.com.. I should've asked the experts on job interview attire here.

I came home from a work a little while ago. Happy I have Monday off. Plan to spend a bunch of time working on my tennis game. Dunno if I'm going to the woman's apartment this weekend (I usually don't know until the evening).

My brother turned 30 years old recently. I'm next...(27 right now)

I just finished watching Season 3 of the Shield. What a great show. Next is Season 3 of The Dead Zone when that comes out soon.

And what would this post be without a WoW reference. I just got my Druid to level 54. I did Sunken Temple this week and liked it a lot. I'm going through again on Tuesday. I dropped Alchemy and took on Enchanting (just for a change). I've been working that skill up.

And right now I'm heading into the game to work on my Enchanting.

My ex-wife (also known as slut) called me the other day to tell me she's getting married for the third time. The bad news is that he lives in Topeka, KS, so my kid will be moving out of state in June. So now, I have to travel 5 hours to see my son.

To top it all off, I may have ruptured a disc in my neck. I have moments where my right arm goes numb and I lose all strength in it for several minutes. I haven't had a good night sleep since I injured myself two weeks ago. I have to wait another two weeks to get a MRI done because the VA hospital is has a huge backlog and I'm not considered an urgent case. ah, the beauty of government run healthcare.

Other than that, I'm doing great.

Sorry, VPI.

I just got back from getting my girlfriend out of a warrent for not having proof of insurance on her when she got pulled over last month. Of course, she still has a warrant out for the original ticket...which I told her to be sure to take care of WEEKS ago.

Oh, and I have a big canker sore on my tongue which is making it a bitch to eat, talk, or do just about anything else that requires my tongue to move.

My wife and I are headed to the baptism of my niece. She was born with only two chambers in her heart, but is doing remarkably well. She'll have a big surgery soon to rewire her circulatory system

The dossier for our adoption went to China and now we wait for several months.

We got our bikes out for the first time this year and it nearly killed both myself and my wife.

My wife pissed off a friend with this exchange:

Friend: "My boyfriend called last night and told me I should rent The Notebook because it was the most romantic movie he had seen"

Wife: "Is he gay?"

I've had weird health issues that have finally been properly diagnosed and after fixing my diet, I've begun to feel a lot better. After years of fatigue and depression, I discovered it was all due to a dietary intolerance. Very strange.

Also, my latest article is being published in a speciality law journal at a top 5 school so that is kind of exciting.

Other than that, I do a lot of garden and lawn work. I don't play games much at all anymore.

Jeeber....is a canker sore anything like a chancre sore?

I'm still in school...unemployed at the moment. Mooching off of mom (hey..free food...free room and board..I can't say no!!). My girlfriend went to Rhode Island & Alabama this week to visit her uncle and sister respectively. She's due back on Sunday and I'm excited to see her.

Last night I was extremely inebriated and sitting in a Denny's with 3 friends at 3 a.m.. Nothing special, right? Well, have you ever played that game with the claw that grabs at stuffed animals? I had never won anything from any of those machines, and last night I won FOUR TIMES!!!! That may be obituary material, depending on how everything else turns out

I signed my first big official contract two days ago. I'll make 50% more than what I was making as an independent contractor during the last year. Starting July 1, 2005, I'll officially be an "Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry" in the Child and Adolescent Department. The excellent part of this is that I'll be able to primarily work in state funded clinics for people without resources and insurance which I enjoy for a variety of reasons as well as teach residents and medical students.

My wife won an award for being the best culinary arts student in the state of Louisiana! It was wierd being the significant other for a social function/award dinner as the roles are usually reversed. However, I'm very proud of her and it was a good kind of wierd.

Now, I'm studying for my oral board to become certified in Adult Psychiatry and I'll be traveling to Kansas City in exactly 2 weeks to go take this stressful test. 50% fail and if I get an old examiner who wants to focus on in-depth psychoanalytical theory, I could be sunk. *keeping my fingers crossed for a youngish examiner.*

I'm sorry VPI. My dad is about to start his second week of chemo the week after next, he was supposed to start next week but he has too low of a white blood cell count, they said. But things are supposed to go well.

Well, I just moved my machine for work to our new offices, I get to work tomorrow, and if the systems aren't up properly, I get to work Monday.

Besides that, we won our Football game last night 63 - 0, poor expansion team didn't know what was coming.

Anyways, I am going to camp out in the back yard with the kids tonight considering that the move ruined our plans for a camping trip this weekend.

My girlfriend&I just signed a lease for our new apartment. We'll be "living in sin" which my conservative family semi-disagrees with, but oh well. Living in sin kicks ass We've been together almost a year and things will be swell with our new 2-bedroom apt.

I have gotten about 20 hours of sleep in the last week and a half, finally picked up a sleep aid last nite, i have no clue why i cant sleep, though I do have two messed up discs in my lower back which my rheumatologist insists is not related to my RA, maybe it was the last car accident i had, not sure, but my back's a real pain in the ass, might go see an orthopedic since whenever i move i feel each section of my spine make a noise only i seem to hear and noww i have this little thing on the bone on the iinside of my left thumb that is poking me whenever i do something with it...OH and i turned 28 wednesday(25 AGAIN)closer to the big three O....
sooo all in all, i have a lot of cleaning to do, cant do left handed hand jobs, and theres no way ill be doing reverse cowgirl anytime soon....BUTTTT im happy I dont have to deal with stupidass backstabbing type women at work anymore especially the ones who bumped me with their chair everytime they got up from their desk

Hmmm... I'm packing to move to a new apartment on Wednesday... the fucking landlord wouldn't let us move in 2 days early on Memorial day when I don't have to work... no one has lived there for 2 months, what is he waiting for. My girlfriend officially graduates college next Saturday (technically she's started her 2nd year of grad school though). SO I have 2 evenings to move everything before I have to be out of my apartment. I had a panic attack Thursday that felt like someone was hitting me in the chest with a baseball bat.

Going to the Finals of the Southern Conference baseball tournament to watch the last seeded Furman Paladins play either Coll. of Charleston or Georgia Southern for the SoCon Championships!!!! Also going to complain about the ump, who had no discernable strike zone yesterday. FU ALL THE TIME!!!!!

I'm working now (avoiding the monster yard sale at home). getting ready to get my laptop out to play - er, beta test - 6.5 all day. Have the first two Lost episodes downloaded, so I may check those out later today. A couple job opportunities have opened up at work - there's a possibility that I'll be going back to work fulltime and my wife becomes the stay at home parent.

although I'll probably get fired on Tuesday when they check the internet logs and see my Google search to find out what the fuck a "reverse cowgirl" is...

What was the intolerance you found? Years of fatigue and depression sounds rather familiar, I might want to try the same change and see if it helps.

Is this the girl you went out with for the first time on Valentine's Day? So you've been for three and a half months and you're ready to move because she wants to move?

My companies got incorporated officially just over 2 weeks ago. I've been self-employed since March 14th and I haven't starved yet, so I figure I must be doing okay.

Projects are well, we're doing a lot. Getting lots of emails about Toccer lately, which is wacky..but a good thing.

Looking forward to a productive summer, we have a lot going on.

I just bought the first season of Magnum PI on DVD, so I'll be good once it arrives.

Im wirting 2 contracts this weekend (wrote one yesterday) and my GF wrote her first 3 Deals last weekend!!! Things have been good about that...the draft is taking a lot out of me. Saw star wars last night, it was awesome. waiting on my new computer cruella to get back, so now I just have a new empty desk sitting here (we think it just needs the USB drivers installed and the firewire to be recognized as firewire and not a network card. Leave for Vegas in a week baby!!!! (one of my homeowners brought me $50 in PF Chang's bucks (hes a mgr.) so were already up!!

I had my first homosexual experience this week with a transexual lot lizard. Wait? Does that count?

Ok, I lied, that didn't happen. But one day it will.

Uhm, back to work for the next year, just used up y two weeks of vacation over the last month and did absolutely nothing and enjoyed it every minute. The good thing about vacation, re-energizes me and I enjoy work for a long time after that. The bad thing, the first few weeks back, despite the enjoyment of my job, I find myself hating my codriver and wanting to go to another company so I can drive solo.

Last but not least, mourning the loss of hand jobs and the reverse cowgirl going on in my house.
