Brooke Shields and Tom Cruise Catfight

I wonder who took the first shot. I will say that this is pretty funny.

Shields Mocks Cruise and Holmes' Romance

Actress Brooke Shields and Tom Cruise's ongoing feud has intensified - after the Suddenly Susan star mocked the16 year age-gap between the actor and his new girlfriend Katie Holmes. Cruise - who has helped people fight drug addictions through his controversial Scientology religion - recently attacked Shields for becoming dependant on anti-depressant Paxil, following the birth of her daughter Rowan. And Shields has continued her war of words against Cruise following his "dangerous" comments, by offering him a child ticket so he can take Holmes to see her in hit London musical Chicago. She says, "If he wants to see Chicago, I've left him two tickets - one adult, one child." The actress recently took a swipe at Cruise's religious beliefs, by saying she wouldn't take advice from someone who devotes his life to aliens.

Brooke Shields could be a Linebacker. Tom Cruise is a dainty little dandy and a nut job.

What started this? Seems like an odd feud.

What is Brooke Shields doing saying anything? I think after Suddenly Susan she lost the right to say anything.

She is mostly right though.

Of course Brooke is right here.

Does anyone out there think that Cruise's public attempts at cover-up relationships echo Troy McClure (whose real love was fish) and that the reality is even stranger than he's just gay?

Cruise started it. He made some Scientologist comment or something slamming Shields for her drug addiction following her post-partum depression. Then Shields fired back.

Tom Cruise has gone insane. Between his rant against Brooke and his craziness on Oprah about his love for his new girl, he's losing it. I think the pressure of being in the closet combined with his Scientologist ways are pushing him closer and closer to the edge...

I don't see him becoming the next Michael Jackson though.

Seeing Katie Holmes naked would leave me babbling incomprehensibly for the rest of my life. Tom is doing quite well.

The problem with that is she's supposed to be a virgin and he's supposed to be gay.

She wasn't addicted to drugs, she only used anti-depressants to fight post-partum and then went off of them. She recently published a book about her experience with post-partum and how it affected her, etc.

Tom Cruise is definitely insane - it's fine if he wants to be a scientologist, but the minute someone starts trying to impose their beliefs on someone else such as he is doing, I lose all respect for them. However I did see Collateral last night and he is still a good actor.

Collateral was pretty good until the last 1/4th of the movie. It was pretty horrible. From just after the scene in the club until the very end the movie really fell apart. That said, Tom Cruise was decent in it.
