Who takes Game 7?
Personally I think both teams will lose to the Spurs in the Finals

So tonight's game ends in a tie, then?

So does that mean the Spurs have to win 8 games for the title? That doesn't seem right.

No, I think they play against a combination of the Pistons and Heat. And Stan Van Gundy eats Larry Brown.

It will be hard for Brown to claim he was never eaten by Van Gundy when he's conducting the interview from a toilet bowl.

I'm voting Miami, but if Wade isn't able to play most of the game, I think the Pistons will win it.

I think the Heat takes it, but I'm rooting for my home team Pistons. Not that I'll be watching until the 4th quarter, if at all. The Red Sox/Cardinals game will be on.
Ah, who am I kidding - I'd watch the Tigers/Dodgers over basketball. And I've quite enjoyed watching the Yankees recently, as well...

It seems like they're always losing, but yet are still at .500.

The Yankees? Yeah, I know. Take away that 18 game stretch where they mostly beat up on the West Division (I think they won 16) and they'd be in big trouble. Apparently, 70+ games of their last 105 or so are against above-.500 teams, so if they keep playing like they have for the first 50 games, they could be in real trouble. I hope.

Personally I think Shaq puts both Wallaces in foul trouble, and Miami wins easily whether Wade scores 10 points or 30.

Of all possible scenarios, I find this one to be the least likely. Shaq has started strong in most games but evaporated towards the end. Not to mention, the Pistons are 10-0 in their last 10 elimination games. They know how to play in this type of situation. I'm not guaranteeing a win or anything, but I would be very surprised to see an "easy" Miami victory. |

Darko drops 25 after Wallace/McDyess/Wallace/Coleman all get in foul trouble early, he becomes a hero like Tayshaun two years ago and averages 15/10 in the finals.
Wait. I can't even post that seriously. Detroit wins, with Darko's 0 point, 1 rebound performance. |

23-21 at the end of the 1st quarter. Shaq has 10 points on 5/6 shooting and 4 or 5 rebounds.

Pistons a bit unlucky to be leading by just 5 at the half, but it should be a great second half.
Also on Discovery Health right now, a woman is getting a 200-pound tumor removed. It's pretty nasty. |

Knowing the type of injury that Dwyane Wade has, I'm simply amazed at what he is doing in this third quarter. I think he is showing that those first two series weren't just flukes against weaker teams. He is legit.

Uh-oh D-Wade is heating up, if he keeps hitting shots like that it may be a long second half lol

Excellent defensive play by Miami to end the 3rd quarter.

Chauncey came up clutch in the end again. Great finish to a great series, Miami will get theirs sooner or later, but the Pistons' championship mentality got them through another tough series. The Finals should be another deep, tight series.

Id say it was more the bs charging call on Wade with the score at 74-70 then any tough mentality. That call really swung the balance of the game and Miami never recovered afterwards. Here's to a really boring finals.

I'll agree that the refereeing was terrible throughout the series, but there is no way you can chalk this game up to one call, which, for that matter, could have gone either way.

I agree that the refereeing wasn't the deciding factor in this game. Miami didn't get the ball to Shaq enough down the stretch. He was dominating until about 2 minutes left and hardly touched the ball after that. However, ultimately Detroit made plays. I disagree that it will be a boring Finals. I think it will be a defense oriented finals, but not all of us find that boring.
