Best New Release/Most Anticipated Future Release

If you could name one PC game that you are playing and enjoying the most right now (besides FOF2k4), which would you choose?

And what PC game are you most anticipating at this point?

Looking forward to the new GTA game.

I'm really having a blast with Silent Hunter III.

As for upcoming releases, I'm very intrigued by Crown of Glory, which is a Napoleonic strategy game by Matrix Games. This has slid ahead of the sloth-like development of Empires in Arms (also by Matrix), and they are aiming for a July download release.

I'm playing FM2005 and Fate.

I'm most looking forward to FM2006 and finding out what Jim's next release will be.

I agree with Bee (except for the Fate part. I have to admit I've never heard of Fate.)

Neither had I until I stumbled onto it last week. Here's a link to the thread I started on it (and just updated). Not for everyone, but it's the kind of game that offsets FM2005 well for me.

I saw that thread and just forgot about it when reading this thread. Now, I remember. It sounds interesting. I might check it out at some point in the future.

I've designated Silent Hunter III as my "You can't miss" Father's day gift suggestion.

It is finals week and I haven't had much time playing games, save for a quick game of Natural Selection.

I'm looking forward to GTA: San Andreas and Battlefield 2 but since those are coming out this month, I'll choose something more in the future.

I'm really looking forward to Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and The Movies.

I'm not playing much else than FOF right now, but one thing I'm really looking forward to is TCY2, with MP inside!

I know the chances are not that good on getting it soon, but still...

The only thing I've heard lately that remotely sounded good to me about the next Solecismic offering was that when the teen-chick rammed his garage door he was "working". So while I felt bad about the garage door, it felt good to hear that.

I'm currently playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II.

Right now, I'm looking forward to Madden 2006.

Down the road, I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy 12. Unfortunately, I heard that Final Fantasy 12 would be released next year. Ages of Empires III looks sweet but I'm not sure if it will run on my PC.

Been playing unhealthy doses of Battlefield 2 for the most part.

As for anticipated release, hard for me to say. Nothing really stands out in my eye -- except for maybe the Warhammer: Dawn of War expansion pack Winter Assault.

Well Dreamfall is now pushed back to Spring '06. http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/08...s_6132086.html

I'm still looking forward to The Movies and that looks like it will be out this year as they are now offering a "star maker" thing when you preorder it.

FEAR, Call of Duty 2, and Age of Empires 3 are also on my radar.

I'm currently playing Guild Wars. The game is still addictive even though I beat all of the PvE missions. Not interested in the GvG or PvP aspect, unless its for fun and not about the guild ranking.

Ghost Recon 3, Call of Duty 2 and Ages of Empires III round out the list.

P.S: Sorry bout the Playstation 2 games on my previous posts. Forgot to read initial post.

Space Rangers 2. Sleeper hit for me. No question. I'm dividing my time between this and BF2 (which I still play on occasion, when a buddy calls me up to got Squadron Supreme on everybody).

Still kind of waiting for Dawn of War's expansion pack.

Not much time to play at the moment, but I'm enjoying Space Rangers 2 and KOTOR.

I'm looking forward to Oblivion, but I'm concerned that the PC requirements are going to be so high that I won't be able to play it well on my machine. I might try the Xbox version, but I liked Morrowind after the mods fixed it and would miss the modding capability of the pc version. Not sure what I'll do yet.

I'm also looking forward to Civ 4.

I'm also thinking that it's about time for Jim to release something new, and I have to admit that I'm looking forward to that as well, especially if it were TCY2.

I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'll need to schedule the purchase of a new pc to correspond to the release of Oblivion.

I suppose I should update this:

I'm really looking forward to Magna Carta: Tears of Blood for the PS2. Saw the trailer, read a bit on it, it seems interesting (RPG). I've been seriously collecting the 'must haves' for the PS1, since GameStop and EBgames are pretty much getting rid of their PS1 inventory, hence why my interest in console games has jumped up by a bit.

I am, however, still playing quite a bit of BF2 on the side, and admittedly, a little bit of FarCry for the PC.

Heh, spent some time playing Far Cry last week and finally finished it a few days ago. What an anti-climatic ending.

Currently playing the Call of Duty 2 demo and the demo for TEW2005.

Still looking forward to Call of Duty 2 , F.E.A.R., and The Movies.

Ironically, I haven't played much of the single player campaign. Pretty much my FarCry sessions were all multiplayer -- and yes, there are apparently still some people who still play the multiplayer component it seems!
