Possibly moving to Denver...looking for the scoop on the area

I've been there a bunch of times and get around fairly well for a place I've never actually lived. I have an interview there on the 23rd and if I get the gig, I'll most likely take it.

Anyone in the area wanna give me the skinny. Like "don't live in this place, it's scuzzy." Or stuff like that.

I think I'll probably rent for the first year, since I want to take some time to get settled before trying to buy something. It's just me, I don't have a family or anything.

Thanks.

Broncos fans suck. That said, at least you'll see a Raiders game every year.

When you go to Casa Bonita, go expecting good entertainment, but not a good meal.

I'm not sure if they have a WNBA team.

I've been there. And you're exactly right. I especially hate Mexican Food, so yeah.. I only went because we were on a debate trip and they insisted on going. Commies.

I usually go there with my high school group when we're heading to one of our Colorado camps. The first time we went, the kids had to pay the "entry fee." (I call it that because you're definitely paying for entertainment first, food second...) Some of them, especially the girls, were ticked about having to pay 10 bucks for a crappy meal when not all of them were even hungry. Now, I've started adding the price of Casa Bonita to the cost of the trip, and it is a *HUGE* hit since they feel like they're going free of charge.

Clever.

I didn't even get what I ordered and so I wasn't charged when we went there back in '01. I've avoided it every time since then.

You should also try selling "SD Summer Camp 2005" shirts for $10 and advertise them as 50% off...the doubled normal price.
