If you use winamp, they have both disc streamed so you can listen to the full album, and usually do with most releases for a few days before or after.

Haven't bought it - listened to it there, seems pretty good.

Yeah I have Rhapsody and I tried to listen to it here at work, but it's too noisy here.

This is a band that in theory, I should like, but I just don't get. Rock songs not rocking enough to be interesting as hard rock (no real riffs, just loud guitar), and not melodic/harmonic enough (at all) to be catchy pop/rock. And every song pretty much is the same tempo, style, and heaviness. That first single is the worst lead single off a 2005 album that I've heard. I wanted to give them a second (third) shot on this album, but Grohl's singing/screaming the same line over and over during that song is unlistenable.

Other than that, I highly recommend this album.

Im trying to get into it, but the Rocking disc is way too loud, and the acoustic disk isnt all that great. Which sucks, cuase FooFighters are one of my 5 favorite bands probably

Its no With-ah Teeth-ah. It frustrates me cause it could have been a much better song. Grohl plays the pronoun game too much with his love songs. Is he gay?

Yeah, but arguably, that makes it even worse. The song isn't utterly ridiculous, it's just not that compelling, and his delivery is grating. But there appears to be something there that could have been a good song.

That's always been a problem on their singles. Songs like Times Like These and My Hero are the same. Potentially great songs ruined by a repetitive, constantly repeated chorus.

Big fan, especially the duet with Norah Jones on the 2nd CD. (Virginia Moon)

After listening the album for the first time I was really bummed, but then the second time through I really started to gain an appreciation for it. I think this is one of those albums that will grow on you over time. There are some tunes that sound very similar to some of the older stuff, but then there are also some unique new sounds.

Saw them on SNL last week (two weeks ago?) and their new song sounded grittier/harder than their older stuff. Sounded pretty good to me...

You know, you can always find what you are looking for on FOFC. Despite some of the negatives, I want this album... yep.. it takes me months to fully know whether I want an album or not.

I agree, I thought that song was AWFUL. I ran for the tuner whenever it came on. The followup was ok. But that first one, ugh.

I haven't heard anything else from that album, and I don't feel a big void in my life. I don't know what it is about them...I guess I explained it as best I can in my first post above - they're just too middle ground rock-sounding, and coupled with pedestrian songwriting, that's not a good combo in my mind.

I like this album as background music while I'm working, but haven't found it particularly compelling otherwise.

In Your Honor has grown on me. I didn't really think much of it at first, but now I like it as a "long drive home from work" CD. It's definitely not their best effort, though. Personal peeve--why does seemingly every song on the "rock" half have at least one instance of lyrics running into each other? Dave, dude, finish the line you're on before moving on to the next one, please. I don't remember this happening so frequently on any other Foo Fighters CD, and it's annoying as all hell.

As for Kodos...Nirvana is my all-time favorite band. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

Nirvana is one of my all-time least favorite bands. I actively hate just about every song I know. I only like "All Apologies". Nice job, Kurt.
