Who's the richest, and who's the poorest FOFCer playing Hattrick?
My economy has 8 #'s in it. Last edited by tucker rocky : 07-03-2005 at 07:44 PM. |

I'm comfortably at a $5M cushion. Too much more than that and I'd be worried I was letting my money go to waste when it could be helping the team.

I'm at 12M, I, um, remodeled my team so that I could get there. It gives me 100k a week in interest (actually 88k after economists) and I don't have to worry about injuries to the team. If I get an injury, I buy a new starter.

Tom Sanders moved us into the right direction and we've never looked back. Now there's some old-school FOFC HT trivia, who's Tom Sanders?

I had about $1.5M before today, but I bought a formidable defender in an emergency. Not sure how long I plan on keeping him...originally I had intended to sell him back almost immediately and upgrade to the Outstanding/Brilliant I had planned on doing a while back. Now I'm not sure.

![]() I thought I had written some stuff about him in one of my dynasty reports so I went digging and came across this nugget (check out the guestbook part at the bottom): http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showpost.php?p=234953&postcount=46 Hm.. I really do miss writing those sometimes. They just were so darned time intensive. SI

I wish I could have afforded to buy that WC PM you sold, TK, but alas, my economy is just beginning to grow. Currently scheduled to have 1.127 million or so at the next econ update. I'd be over 2 if I hadn't bought those two formidable defenders in the offseason. Getting there, though, almost all of it comes from gate receipts, and the odd YP sale. I'm not scheduled to sell off a trainee until at least the end of next season, unless I just can't stand the wait any longer, or the age.

We've just made a pair of upgrades to try to stay in IV.5 this season. I tend not to keep a lot of money on tap because I can still make upgrades with 3-4 million in a few positions. 1-2 more seasons and I'll have to start saving to 6-8 million to get new players. I've also got 4 of my 6 trainees at 17 or 18, so it's going to be a skimpy couple of seasons. |

Don't need to spend it right now as I'm dominating my series. I'll probably buy a titanic midfielder in the offseason when I autopromote back to IV. |

It'll be much more fun to see how much I'll have in the offseason. If I drop to 9 points behind first over the next two weeks, I'm downgrading one of my IMs (ET to probably supernatural) to save on wages. I also have two world class+4, each with passing, who I'll be selling at titanic/ET. Should have some pretty good cash after that ![]() |

I was unlucky to start playing HT with the "retarded" fans and thus my economy never took off since I would always lose in my very tough D.V series. This season, my fourth, I have finally been able to make some money and I've finally started to save up.
Cash funds: 1 293 440 US$ (1 245 230) US$ I hope to be around $2M-$3M by season's end.
