Team for sale
All my starters and 2 backups are up for sale. Feel free to bid and bid high. Not quitting just re-tooling fairly hardcore.

Buying new guys and changing to set pieces training.
The game has become a bit stagnant for me of late so I'm just looking to take the team in a different direction. |

Dola,
I was training scoring, so all the forwards listed have additional training plus they will receive training this week in scoring, if you're interested these will be the additional trainings as of Friday when the sales end: Luca Weidenhiller Excellent +7 Lois Lobringer Formidable +2 Laurenthiu Anghel Outstanding +4 Elias Persson Formidable +6 Carlo Zandari Brilliant (injured currently w/10 docs won't train this week) +1 Wendelin Marvel Brilliant +3 If you have specific questions regarding how long they took to go up their last level, etc. Let me know. |

What exactly is incompatible with your current players and SP training? if you don't mind.
The benefits I've seen of SP training is the massive # of trainiees and the fact that practically any player could be effectively trained in it, mass selling seems pretty counter-intuitive to that. Last edited by rickJ : 07-12-2005 at 09:40 PM. |

I -could- have kept my current guys, but they are already proven losers so in an effort to expunge my losing streak this is was my chosen route.

Too bad they aren't ending before the training update. I might be interested in a couple of them if they were on my team before the training happened. Day training would be worth it. Still, that excellent +7 looks very tempting, but I fear his price will go way up as soon as he pops. Bleh.
Tell P.S. If he doesn't pop tomorrow, I'll prolly go for him anyways. Beats the heck outta 3 of my trainees.

On the SP training side; is it just me or is asking $5.9mil for a brilliant defender with decent secondaries and divine SP 175% insane? |

That is probably a little high, but asking for it isnt insane. now paying that much is ![]() from what i can tell, divine set pieces usually adds around a million or so to the sale price of a outstanding+ player. brilliant defenders go for about 2 mill, so i would say 3 mill is a closer to a better estimate. but then again, how many divine set piece brilliant defenders are there? its supply and demand.

hey, if you are going to become a set piece trainer. do me a favor...
pick up a 17 year old USA passable defender. preferably powerful and inad passing. train that guy up to divine set pieces. then tell me when hes up for sale when he is 18-19. i will always buy that guy off you i can find them, but never USA ones.

I knew he would, most of my guys pop at 7 weeks, has been like clockwork even for 19yo's. Probably got a half week on them somewhere though.
Tell Edit: And wow, did I predict that. 1.6 mil on him now. Edit2: And wow, makes me want to sell my 18yo formidable/inad/inad guy!

If you're training set pieces, my newest youth pull is an 18 yr old with solid sp. Nothing else in the way of skill, so he'll be cheap.
