jbmagic reminds me of a favorite episode of the Wonder Years (huge fan). Remember the one where Winnie goes to the dance with "What are your 5 favorite records" "What are your 5 favorite colors", etc etc, guy. Kevin goes with Inga, the Swedish exchange student. Enough of my rambling.

Not a big candy guy, but Reeses P-Cup's are the best.

OMG, did I post about this & forget that I did it?

I found those candy cigarettes just last week for the first time in roughly 20 years. A little ice cream & candy shop in the next town over provided a top notch walk down memory lane for me with not only what you pictured, but "Gold Nugget" bubble gum as well (remember the little "Chiclet fragments" that came in a cloth bag, like a 49ers gold). They also carry, but were out of, the bubble gum cigarettes that were coated with extra confectioners sugar so that when you blew on the end, a little puff of "smoke" would appear from the tip. They also had the little wax pop bottles, the ones that held like 1.5 ounces of sort of watered down kool-aid type concoction.

Meanwhile, nostalgia aside, Spree & Bottle Caps get my hard candy nod while 3 Musketeers gets the chocolate division crown.

My wife just sold her candy store--and after trying too many chocs and sweets, I think I have to go with Clark Bars. Clark's are the oldest continually made candy bar in the US--a less sugary Butterfinger. I also like Zero, Zagnuts and Oh Henry.

Non-Chocolate : Tangy Taffy...

Chocolate - Hmm.. toss up between Caramello and Whatchamacallits although, those new Butterfinger Crisp bars are moving up the chart.

I miss Marathon bars though. (They last a long, long, long, long time...)

Its so hard to pick a favorite. I'd say i like Zagnuts, or Clarks the most for candy bars, the new Take 5 bar is among my faves too. All the Wonka candy is good as well.

Funny stuff, Cring.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I guess my favorite candy is a 3 Musketeers bar or Nestle Crunch

I love the Reese's, but even better is combining your own chocolate and peanut butter. The ability to improve the quality of both the chocolate and PB makes for an oustanding taste experience.
