Other notes. You've already spent $489,000, which is way too much. You haven't picked a training setup, and you still have a weak trainer. You need to turn around and resell Bife. Sell Cordero if you don't plan on training forwards. In fact, at this point, you're in such a bad economic position, my only advice would be to sell all of your players under the age of 20 to get as close to even money as you can. You may as well keep Falerburg because your midfield options suck. I'd then buy 2 17 or 18 year olds with inadequate to passable keeper. They're very cheap right now, and I don't think you can afford to buy a full set of forwards, midfielders or defenders, and keeper training is a good, simple way to start out in this game. I would then get a passable coach with poor leadership as soon as possible. It will cost you around $80,000, but it will cut two weeks of the training time of any player, and training is how you make most of your money in hattrick. Once you get stabalized with that, we can probably go into how you can make a few short-term upgrades on your roster to make you competitive in VI. |

I would say that to start, especially this late into the year, go with stamina training. It will hurt your form, but you will see the greatest improvement in your team right away.
I agree that you should sell Bife straight away. The money will go a long way in other areas. You should be able to get away with any of your passable forwards for a while. You can make money a lot of ways early on, but the sooner you develop a good training program, the sooner it will pay off. I also think that investing money in your coach and your arena when you can afford to are the ways to go. bronconick has some really good ideas about what your players are best at. It seems to me that the area to improve first is going to be midfield. You really don't need fantasic players now, but you need some depth that you lack, in an area that is the most important in the game. I might spring for a winger too. I would play a 442 initially until you decide what formation you would like to run. Build up that formation with friendlies, and switch. This isn't as important though because you really can do anything you want these last two weeks. Treat them as free training weeks. Don't try and do everything at once. Breakdown each position and focus on it. When you get comfortable with it move on to the next area. You will begin to see the direction that you want to go with your team. You are guarenteed to screw up somewhere. We all have at somepoint, but that is where you will learn and understand the why and how of how things need to be. As opposed to doing what others tell you like a robot, you may develop a great team, but you still won't know what you're doing. Let us know if you have any other questions. We are always here.
