Wow. Talk about a sight for sore eyes.
Watching a Cubbies/Dodgers game, and the camera focused on a dude in the stands wearing a shirt for the old Hartford Whalers. Haven't seen one of those since I was in elementary school.

I have my hole-filled Whale shirt from '97 and my Sami Kapanen signed jersey upstairs. My fellow Nutmeggers and I will always bleed green.

Once the Whalers moved I could never keep the same interest in the NHL and it used to be the league I followed second closest (after MLB). (I still crank up my Brass Bonanza MP3 every so often though.
