OT: Opera Browser - Free registration codes

No this isn't a warez thread.

Opera is actually giving away free registration codes as part of their 10-year online anniversary party. I don't know how long this will last so get 'em while it's hot.

The only thing they ask for is an email address. Codes are available here.

Yeah, I got one just in case... though I hardly use any other browser than Firefox.

I had forgotten about this. Nice to finally get rid of the ads on the top.

I use Firefox as well, but I went ahead and picked up the code. For those who know Opera, is it even worth it to use or is Firefox better?

Yes Opera is quite good. On par with firefox. The only problem for me has always been the ads. This is great for me.

I still give Firefox the edge over Opera for the development community and, at this point, more familiar feel (plus Opera seems a little squirrely about handling cookies). That said, if you don't like either IE or Firefox or need a second browser, I'd give it a look. The best of all the others out there not named Firefox.
