TCY Draft Export question

Can anyone tell me how the draft eligible players are selected from TCY when you create an FOF draft file?

I've started getting into TCY, and was hoping to follow my graduates in the pros, but despite getting top 50 and top 25 finishes over the last 3 seasons, none of my players are in the draft file. I'm assuming that this is because I'm playing as Barrow, Alaska in the Solecismic Conference and its related to real-life college reputations (none of the other Alaska colleges have players in the draft file either)

Assuming this to be the case, does anyone have any recommendations for a low standard college who's graduates are likely to be included in the exported FOF draft file, and I'll start a new career with this type of team.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

this is funny and going to change your day....

because those are fake schools their names arent in the FOF database so theyre assigned as tiny schools in FOF (not the same one's in TCY) so youll find a player on Geneva, or Fairfield, etc. look for those small schools and youll find some of your players just on the wrong college team.

Your players get imported. Your problem is that the players from the Solecismic teams does not retain their TCY college in FOF 2004. Instead they get a random college affiliation from small schools such as Harvard, North Carolina A&M etc.

Ah (insert 'sheepish' smiley!). Thanks for the info. Found a couple of my old players now - was just sorting the draft by college before, never thought they would be reallocated.

Was a bit shocked, my stud T and excellent CB are barely draftable prospects. Wow.

Yeah there's the second punchline. The transition from TCY to FOF has its problems. One is that there are way too many highly-skilled college players to see every one of them turn into draftable pro prospects. So, lots turn into duds.

Some argue that this is a very deeply flawed transition - where TCY backups and dropouts frequently look better as pro prospects than the starters and good players who beat them out. It can be very, very frustrating.

Some of it just comes with the numbers involved. Whether it is honestly fix-able, I don't know.

We used TCY drafts for our first couple of seasons in my office MP league, but have since stopped and are using FOF-generated drafts. Talent diversity issues, bad stat conversions (no big-play receiving for TEs, for example), and the starter/backup issue all made it less than satisfying.
