FOFC PokerStars Colossal Squid tourney, #31 (9/11/2005)

Hello all,

I'm now over my crushing bubble defeat from the WCOOP #1 event. The regularly scheduled tourney is setup for this Sunday evening.

I will be offering the "Bad Beat" bounty once again. If you feel you suffered a bad beat, email the hand history to eric.t.cartman @ gmail.com. I will review the submissions, and determine the bounty claimant on Monday. The bounty will be $12.

Code:
Tourney #12279426 FOFC Colossal Squid #31 NLHE $10+$1 Sunday, September 11, 9:00pm Eastern Password: football

Having won money last time it would seem wrong not to return it to people who play better than I.

I also will be offering my first out bad beat bounty. The details are in the thread from last time if you're wondering.

My internet connection has been very spotty lately and so I'm a bit worried about entering the tournament, not having Cartmans skills (or 30 minute blinds). So my entry, if there is one, will be last minute. I will be along to cheer people on though.

I'm officially entering the bad beat bounty.

You can see the results below. Last hand of the tournament and I go all in on the turn with the best hand -- two pair, sixes and eights. Barkeep calls with a pair of fours and a gutshow straight draw. He has six outs -- one of two fours to make a set, one of four fives to make the straight. Five hits and he wins.

Congrats, barkeep! You played a great tourney.

I agree with kc on his deserving the bad beat bonus. He played a great tourney. Fouts deserves some consideration for his 3rd Jack completing a straight, but I would go with this hand more so.

Dude! You need some lessons from the married men on the board, letting us know that you need your wife's permission to play a friendly game of poker with the guys is a major sign of weakness!

Makes you wonder if Jeeber only has sex when his wife allows him to take his genitals out of the jar where she keeps them locked away safely so nothing will happen to them.

since kcchief was the only one to submit a bad beat to me, as the rules for the bounty outline, he is the winner. $12 is on the way to your PS account

Sweetest two words in the English language ... de-fault! de-fault!

My bad beats continue. I just got knocked out of a SnG where I went from the chip lead and comfortable in the money after 66 hands to out on the street with nothing in sevens, losing an all-in to a shortstack with KJ vs Q3, getting no action at all when I had KK, losing another all-in to a shortstack with pockets 10s when he hits a flush, losing KQ to KT when he hits a river straight and getting finished off after I go all-in with my last pile of crap after my my JT flops two pair and falls to AQ who hits a gutshot river straight.

Cartman's kind bounty will salve some of my wounds. You're awesome, Eric!
