I bought it once, quite a long time ago. I wouldn't buy anything with that name on it ever again. It was so bad I actually felt embarrased to have been duped that way.

I'd rather play Football Mogul than be burned alive, FWIW.

Before I found FOF I thought it was good. Then I bought FOF2 and my eyes were opened.

ask Michael Vick...I hear he's putting together some incredible record breaking seasons over there.

Is a boil on your butt any good?

I bought Baseball Mogul and well, that's it for me.

A couple things from the email announcment of its release.

Added draft picks from 2005 (All 8 rounds)

Added the fullback position

That pretty much sums it up.

Depends on if you are in a "Most boils on your butt" competition.

I have the 2005 version of Football Mogul.
Obviously, it is not even close to what FOF (any versions) bring to the table but it's still a football game....

Obviously, you should stick to FOF if you really enjoy career-based football simulations.

they are lacking

you have ratings that don't make sense

there is no real "game day experience"

the draft seems pretty random

overall the game doesn't seem worth it

Just to point out... Daunte Culpepper is on pace to have a 0 TD, 64 INT season.

No realism, my ass!

The trade AI doesn't look too good...(I just tried last night the FBM2006 Mogul beta)

I offered QB Tim Rattay (rated 80/80) because I had 4 other QB on the roster (three of them rated from 64 to 80 along with rookie #1 pick Alex Smith who is rated 76-96)....no less than 14 teams came calling and offered BOTH their top QB along with their #1 or #2 WR.

For instance, I could ship Rattay to Detroit and receive in exchange QB Joey Harrington + WR Roy Williams. Or send Rattay to Cincinnati and get QB Carson Palmer + WR Kelley Washington or, even better, Brett Favre + Javon Walker if I accepted the Green Bay offer....

yak.

I wonder if the trade AI will be addressed to any reasonable degree during the beta testing. While the trade AI in Baseball Mogul 2006 isn't great, it isn't nearly that bad.

My bad, the only thing I've seen people referencing was the beta demo.
