What a crock, indeed
I saw an e-mail from the the friend of a co-worker, claiming that a giant alligator had been killed in the floodwaters by New Orleans law enforcement. And there were pictures!
Turns out the pics were real, but they were from Africa a few years back. To adapt a rather famous (or infamous) song, and this one's for you Quik: "Chubby Checker, psycho, gators in the Congo!"

I thought alligators were only native to the Americas. I thought Africa only had Crocs. Apparently I'm wrong.
