I was just wondering if anybody else here has started playing this as an alternative to paintballing? We've got a game upcoming on the 15th that should be our first "big" meeting (re: 6-10 people) that I'm quite looking forward to. We're not so big as to be doing mil-sims or anything of that nature.
Anybody with more than a passing interest with some tips on gear/equipment or anything of the sort? Any Canadians with solid retailer connections? |

This is the small plastic bullets right?
I played it once, but couldn't aim for shit, and played in a dark area... haven't done it since. |

Standard is usually 6mm plastic bb's. Variety of weights depending on the type of gun you're using. So far we've tried everything from the $30 Wal-Mart special to a $350 Tokyo Marui Sig Sauer.
We've found the accuracy seems to rise almost as fast as the price, ditto for the "OW!" reactions ![]() Last edited by Travis : 10-04-2005 at 06:21 PM. |

How does it work? Is a hit based on the honor system? I'm not a major paintballer, but I've gone a few times and had a blast.

Quote:
Yeah, honour system. THe place I played at had a sniper on a tower in the middle, and if he saw someone arguing or cheating, they would get hit in the neck. Also, if you don't abide to the honour system, the other guy can just keep shooting and that'll hurt like a bitch. Especially getting hit on bone. |

Whatever you do, don't take the orange cap off and then shoot a friend at Taco Bell.
