You have got to be kidding me. Does the Smurfs show even run on TV anywhere anymore? I would say to update it with some current cartoons, but most of todays popular cartoons have characters who would throw down and open up a can of whoop-ass if any warplanes messed with them!

Smurfs is on Cartoon Network, I believe. Whatever channel shows Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry. Since they're from the 80s, they've actually made a comeback, along with Care Bears, Lunch Pail Kids, etc.

Yeah, Boomerang - that's it! The channel with barely any commercials and a Wally Gator episode at the end of every half-hour.

When I first saw this thread's title, I was immediately reminded of the Family Guy movie's scene with the ThunderCats.
"Lion-O! What are you doing? Snarf-Snarf!"

I'm reminded of an old book from Dave Letterman's book mobile on the ol' Late Night at NBC: The Muppets All Die and Go To Hell.
It teaches kids that sometimes life isn't fair. |

Who allows their children to stay up that late? I believe it was on at midnight eastern.
It's not like it was "unexpected". It's on ADULT Swim, right after Family Guy, and they have the ratings and warnings. Last edited by Galaxy : 10-11-2005 at 04:46 PM. |

Any indication that Papa Smurf survived that dastardly attack?

They should have built more anti-aircraft defenses.
This reminds me, am I the only person who hated how noone actually ever got shot on the A-Team or GI Joe? Last edited by judicial clerk : 10-12-2005 at 09:25 AM. |

Gargamel gets his revenge. And seems to have a legitimate causus belli:
