VPI Draft Utility Help

Need anyones help that can answer this rather quickly. We are getting ready to start our draft using VPI's draft utility and I had a question about something. How do you draft for a team that is computer controlled? The reason I ask is because we have a couple computer controlled teams and teams that the GMs are out of town and want us to make their picks off a pref. list, so is there a special way to do this?

you should have a god password that lets you pick for everyone. Computer picks have to be forced by you, so youll actually have to set those teams to human control before starting the draft, in game, and pick for those teams...you couldnt do it in game and not have it reflected in the utility as it would screw things up.

am i wrong?

I don't know how VPI handles it, but I wrote a separate Commisioner over-ride script that allows the Commish to log in and make the current pick. Another option would be to have the Commish log in as this bogus user and fill the preference list full and turn it on. That would work until it ran out of players then he'd have to fill up the preference list again. Another option would be to recruit someone to draft for this team that is not involved in your league.
