Bought a jersey

I am getting to an old enough stage where it is cool to wear a football jersey on Sundays again. I bought a Chad Johnson jersey and I am so pumped to wear it to Hooters tomorrow. Woot.

I really can't ever see myself getting laid while wearing a football jersey unless I'm a millionaire rapper. Maybe that's just self-defeating. I think if you can score a girl while wearing a football jersey, and you're not playing, then you are a better man than I.

My son has a 2T jersey coming for Christmas. Wonder if that's what Shorty wears.

I went there to watch some of the ACC basketball tournament last year (ok, earlier in 2005). They have really good wings. I'd go back there to watch a game just for the wings. Lord knows the waitresses didn't do anything for me (except bring me the wings).

If you're going to break out the NFL jersey, that would be the place.

Johnson will explode this weekend against the Titans.. I'm thinking 10 catches, 120 yards, 2 tds. The man gets motivated after he has a bad week. I would like a Chris Henry jersey myself.. I think by next season, Cinci will be ready to put up 2004 Colts numbers. Wings, football, and more importantly for us, a playoff caliber team after 15 years?

What could be better?

hehe, once you put a jersey on and walk in there, do you automatically gain a beer gut? The guys at the one in the mall of america do.

I don't buy the 'they got good wings' excuse. Support your locally owned bar or restaurant that probably has BETTER wings.

And remember if its actually labeled "Buffalo wings" its NOT.

I'd rather eat "buffalo wings" in every other part of the country than have to venture up to western NY to try these "wings" you speak of.

People from Buffalo are sooo cute. The only thing they have is inventing buffalo wings and want to have some uniqueness.

Oh, I had some good BUFFALO wings the other day down here in Atlanta.

Hey, we'd leave you alone if certain individuals from your area wouldn't blow up when someone said "buffalo wings" . Control your own if you don't want to get blasted .

Don't taunt the Buffalodites please. It was a nice contribution to American society, albeit a limited one.

Not a chance in hell. I'd be looking more @ Culpepper's passing numbers last year and moss's recieving numbers last year, but 3 WR's with 1000 yards and 10 tds? and 49 passing td's from the bengals? Are you serious? And Rudi is no Edge.

I'm not really thinking 3 receivers with 1,000 yards and 10 td's, but just overall offensive numbers.. There could be 4 receivers with 700+ yards- Houshmandzadeh, Henry, Perry and Johnson.. and then you add Rudi Johnson's 1500 plus yards and 10 td's to Chris Perry and his likely 500 plus yards rushing as well..

All I can say for sure at this point is that Carson Palmer is currently playing the best QB in the league right now, and Cinci would be .500 or worse without him. He seems to consistently figure out a defense throughout the course of a game, and usually this results in 70% completions and a steady, consistent offense that reminds me a lot of Dallas in the mid 90's.

What makes me think they could be as potent as the 2004 Colts is the fact that the O-line and the entire offense is basically signed through next year as well, which is just something you can't undervalue. We're talking something like 99 cohesion here.
