playing out of position
i just drafted a good LT in the first round. but i have a decent LT already and was planning on switching him to a RT. but my LT is getting old and i might not resign him next season. I was wondering what would be the penalty if i play my rookie LT in the RT slot without changing his position, so i wouldnt need to change his position next season. isnt the LT spot generally more importnat than the RT spot as far as pass protection goes?

Although nobody knows with certainty what kind of hit you take, I figure the penalty is roughly what it would be if you actually moved the player.
You might also consider moving your veteran LT over to RT or playing the veteran out of position so that your rookie can develop at his natural position (although if he's very raw, that might not be a good idea). LT is the more important position in FOF. |

hes not "very raw". its right after draft, before TC and his current is about 22 or 23 right now. im confident he will become a great player casuse hes a AAA player according to Skydogs drafting tips. yea maybe ill swith my LT over to play the right. thanks

alright, i moved my Vet LT to RT and he didnt loose a single CA or PA pt. he makes a better rt at his lvl and might even be worth resigning after the season

I think you made the right choice, although I might have played the vet at RT but kept his position at LT. Like yab said, LT is definitely the most important position, so you definitely don't want to change the rook's position to RT. And, since the rook is still developing, I think it's best to play him at LT so he can gain experience there.
