Injury Ratings Hit
When does it occur? I've always thought it was when someone got to probable, is that right or can it happen afterward?
EDIT: changes passable to probable, too much hattrick! Last edited by MrBigglesworth : 10-18-2005 at 03:05 PM. |

the immediate hit, if any, usually shows up with at 3-4 weeks before healed. Even if there's not an immediate hit, sometimes the player will take another hit at the aging stage after the draft.

Has anyone found that despite the ratings hit, and injured player can still play closer to his previous ratings, than his new lowered ratings?

this happened to several of my young players. they get a bad injury and when they come back next year are a complete bust. do they ever come back to where they were before the injury? worst of all when i happens to a rookie i draft early, then half way through season he gets injured and i wind up cutting him next year due to a sever drop in CA and PA

I believe the injury hit comes when the status goes from Out to whatever comes next in the individual case.

I have actually had players that were injured and suffered a significant stat dop still perform at a level close to that from before the injury.

I have had two players in IHOF turn probable, look okay, and then take massive hits when fully healthy.

Depends on the type/severity of injury as to when it shows up. I never consider the drop over until he is fully healed and I see the result.
