Chiefs/Dolphins (spoiler inside, don't enter if you don't want to know the result)

WTF??????? The dolphins sucks this year, no doubt, but i'm starting to question Saban and specially Linehan. Here are some game notes:

Stats:

PASSING
CP/ATYDSTDINT
G. Frerotte11/2912501
S. Rosenfels1/17710

RUSHING
ATTYDSTDLG
R. Brown895165
R. Williams6-104

Now looking at that, how would you run your offense? Wouldn't you run all the fu****g time?? why only 8 carries for Ronnie? Why is Frerotte still playing? He only has two passes, short 1 yard pass that is good for completions % or overthrown bomb hoping that somebody will be there to catch it once to improve your yards stats.

Another note about playcalling

Miami Dolphins at 4th quarter 13:18, lossing by 11.
1 and 10- Ronnie run for 9 yards
2 and 1- Long bomb to Chambers, incomplete.
3 and 1- Long bomb to Chambers, incomplete.
4 and 1- Punt

WTF???? why to throw two long bombs with a QB that is having a 33 completion %?? why not to run Ronnie or Ricky on 3rd and 1??? Wake up Linehan, you can't be pass happy with this team as you were in Minnesota, you have two great RB, use them!!!

Then with the game lost and 4 minutes to the end, Sage enters as QB, 1st pass, 77 yards TD to chambers. Omg, please, give a chance to Sage, we have nothing to lose and it's not that Gus is out future QB anyway.

I'm really frustrated today, the dolphins sucks but the coaching staff had an awfull game too and that is way worst imho.

Because with Ricky, it would become 4th and 2?

Other than Frerotte, what are their QB options? I remember they dumped the Ivy Leaguer, but I don't know who else is on their roster.

Not any good QB, but.... Sage Rosenfels, that has been waiting for a chance as 3rd QB for some time already, but that is still young and had a good preseason this year, showing more than the other QB's in the few chances he has been given. My point is that Sage can't do it worse than Frerotte, and look today, 1 pass, 77 yards TD.

take out the one big run and brown wasn't that great per carry... 30 yards on 7 carries.

Yea, but he's an explosive runner who broke 1 of 8 for a huge gain. Who is to say that given 8 more carries he wouldn't break another long one?

Ummm. . . that's still over four yards a carry. You can win with your back doing that.

And indeed, that may be a good strategy when you are facing a solid offense.

Oh well, Miami isn't going to win any titles this year anyway.

Whenever I think of Gus Frerotte I can't help but remember the time he played for the Redskins and headbutted the concrete wall after a touchdown and had to leave the game injured because of it.

The way he's playing it doesn't look like he ever recovered

Not that it really matters, but wasn't he playing for Detroit when he did that?

Nope it was Washington. He rushed for a TD against the Giants on a Sunday Night game the first year at FedEx.

Truly the dumbest thing I've seen in a football game. (not your post.)
