This should be a PC game.

Gaelic Games

It comes out Friday. I remember watching this sport on ESPn way back in the day, maybe even in the good old days of Fox Sports when they showed like Australian Rules Football. This was my favorite sport to watch, along with that weird baseball/field hockey game (which that toccer game seems a lot like). PS2 only game though, and I doubt the US PS2.

The game is very similar to Aussie Rules football and every year the Australians play the Irish in an amalgated version of both games. They just finished a two game series where the Aussies won both.

I'm pretty sure the same company coded the AFL ( Australian Football League ) game which will have a PC version. The PS2 version is out but the PC one is coming soon.

cool, AFL football for the PC. Might have to give that one a try. I miss the old ESPN where they filled the space with sports that you don't normally get a chance to see. There was one Irish one that was a cross between field hockey, lacrosse and soccer where they would flip the ball into the air with the flat end of the stick and then hit it like a baseball to get it to the goal. It looked freaking violent as hell with people gettnig bloodied by the ball and getting struck by the other sticks. i wish I could remember the name of it.

it's called Hurling, and there's two ways to score, hitting the ball over the cross bar (like an American Field Goal), worth one point, or scoring in the soccer style net (worth three points)

Hurling is pretty freaking awesome. I remember it used to come on TV a lot in the early 90s, back when ESPN showed sports and not dramas featuring Bob Knight and Sebastian Telfair.

And yeah, hurling is the closest sport in the world to toccer.
