No MNF Thread?

14-7 at the end of the first half. The Eagles actually are balanced on offense. Rushing 20 times for 89 yards. McNabb is 10 for 16 for 87

That's ok. Philly, looks like they are finally going to commit to having a running game. Now, I'm actually thinking the Eagles can fight the Giants for the NFC East Title. Before this game, I thought the Giants were definitely going to win the division.

Will you look at that? The Eagles run. The Eagles stick with the running game.

The Eagles win the TOP battle. The Eagles defense stays fresh. The Eagles win.

The Eagles become the Eastern Conference favorites again.

Amazing how that works. (I know some say that Carolina is the team, but I think Philly is better when they are mixing things up like they are tonight)

Things that Keywhawn has always been good at:

1. Blocking - always among the very best wideouts
2. Taking a hit - the safety who just drilled Keyshawn is now down and hurt while Key rambled on.

example: Keyshawn laid a huge block on that Barber run...

edit: Madden caught it.

You could never question KJ's willingness to do whatever he's asked. He can disagree with the playcall, and still go out there and block or go across the middle a 100% full throttle.

Regardless, I still wouldn't invite him over for mac and cheese night.

As a Jet fan I always kind of liked him. No excuse for his bullshit in Tampa, but he's always been a complete wideout out there. He's put together a solid little career.

Oh my God.

The Eagles then decide to throw the ball in the exact situation they shouldn't have. Unbelievable. What was McNabb thinking there?

Scratch what I said in that last post I guess.

These NFC East Monday night games are just bizzare.

This is like a replay of the Cowboys-Skins game. One dominating the entire came thaen just choking it away in the final minutes.

I have to wonder why they were even throwing there, given how well they'd been running tonight.

You aren't the only one. Run it or call a dump off. No need to call anything more than a swing pass in that situation. If it's third and five or so you call the pass for the first down. It just wasn't necessary to do what they did there.

Really stupid play call. Really poor execution. Just unbelievable.

Excellent! Lovely turn of events here. Nice to see the Eagles choke it away even though the Cowboys haven't played good enough to win it.

Throw one down the middle of the field right now. Hit Smith in the seam about 20 yards down the field, spike the ball and let Akers take his shot.
