TPB......Fired?!?!?!?!?

I just got fired, after winning the NBA TITLE! The team made money and I have won the title 2 outa 3 years now. I have had the best record in the NBA the last 4 years. In that span the team has made over 150 million dollars. Now tell me how I just got fired after winning the title. This game is confusing...Now I have to take and build some crap team...grrr...

They don't like the attitude you carry around. Frankly, as a fan, I think it is long overdue. The players made you, man!!

It's my evil little way of getting back at you for winning the title

Seriously though I'm sure there was some reason for it - my guess is that you had a scrooge of an owner who looked at your payroll and said if the payroll was cut in half I would have made 200 million. It happens - just like in real life there are some owners built in who will spare no expense to win and some owners who couldn't care less what you do as long as its done cheaply.

I can see that...just that it says the owner is willing to spend and highly patient. I dunno Im not angry cause I can understand, I just wanted to see how many titles I could win.

There should be an override button.

I agree, the computer GMs are the worst part of the game. I don't think I've ever seen a player even near all-star caliber leave his team in free agency (unless I've been the one signing them)--the computer GMs insist on resigning all of their players to ridiculous contracts. Terrible picks in the draft as well.

Never had a problem with getting fired, however. Just starting 2015 with the Bobcats, won 4 titles in a row and 6 of the last 8. While I'm bitching, though, has anyone else had a problem with guards getting way to many blocked shots? My star player, a 27 year old, 6-7, 9 year veteran SG Cedrick Patrick on his career has averaged 23.1 pts, 8.1 reb, 3.8 ast, 2.3 stl, and 2.9 Blocks. Not just him though, the guy drafted right after him 9 years ago is a 6-2 SG who has averaged 2.4 BPG on his career.

Bumping this because I got fired in my last TPB career and I wanted to know if there was a way to get my team back. If I go into the Commissioner Mode, it doesn't let me do anyhting. I was building a great team from scratch with the Raptors... I'm playing PureGM mode.

only way is play in basic mode. you dont get fire in that mode.

i do wish in TPB you get a warning in the email telling you what the owner wants from you.
