just got the keys to our new house

...and boy, are my arms tired.

we're very happy. it seems just like yesterday that we were thinking of selling our co-op to simply buy a larger co-op, and from there we felt we should buy a condo, and from that we decided to try to get a small little house and now here we are, on a nice little plot of property with a house that's pretty big for just the two of us.

today was a big day. from the time we originally decided to try to sell our tiny co-op on our own way back in March, to selling it, moving in with my wife's parents as we went house hunting, finding our place and going through all the hoops to close on it - to today, when we finally got the keys to the place and walked in. it's big in the sense of this is the final culmination in a plan/path that was many, many months in the making. now we have to fix up the place to our liking, but still, this is the end of the ride. we crossed the finish line after running a grueling months-long marathon.

i love seeing my wife excited and happy. we're poor now, but remembering how happy she was today will make it all worthwhile.

ugh...there will be much semen flowed friday, saturday and sunday. after bouncing off the walls and going crazy running through all the empty rooms we came down off our sugar high.

i might even wear my man-thong this weekend. the one that subby loves.
