Fantasy Football Question: Which Running Back to start?
Ok, I'm in a playoff gmae this weekend against the top team in the league this weekend.
I have a strong stable of running backs, but can only start three. Here is how running backs get points: Rushing Yards (20 yards per point) Rushing Touchdowns (6) Here is who I have: Larry Johnson (vs. NYG) Cadilac Williams (vs. NE) Corey Dillon (vs. TB) Warrick Dunn (vs. Chi) Willie Parker (vs. MIN) Who do I start? Larry Johnson is a given. At the moment I have Dillon and Williams starting too. I don't like Dunn vs. Chicago (especially since Ducket is there to steal away goal line plays). Parker vs. Minn is interesting because the game is in Minnesota and the turf there should benefit Parker's speed. However, the Bus has been getting a lot of carries the last few weeks. Thoughts?

I think that you are right that Parker is a better back on turf than Bettis. But Pittsburgh is a team that "gets back to its roots" when it needs a win. I think that Cowher is going to ride the Bus--as much for the emotional message it sends to the team as for any football related reasons (and, the Bus still has some ability left. He's not a stiff out there). I'd avoid Parker. |

I would call Johnson and Williams givens and then decide between Dillon and Dunn. I would expect Dunn to get more carries and yards, but Dillon will probably get at least one score. I'd say go with Dillon. |

Johnson, Dillon, Parker.
FWIW - I bet on Bettis to have a TD last game. Still, I like Parkers chances at endzone more than Caddy's.

I would Say Johnson, Cadi, and Parker. I think Dunn will struggle against Chicago, and there is something not right with Dillion. I think he is hurt more than it appears. He put up good numbers against Buffalo last week, but the Bills are awful (I watch every game, I have some insight on this).
I have my own RB issue. I need to start two of the following Tiki Barber (who I will start) Mike Anderson (@Bills) Willie Parker (@ Minnesota) Ronnie Brown (vs. Jets) Julius Jones (@ Washington) Ryan Moats (@ St. Louis) At the start of the season I I had five backs all getting the majority of the reps, now I am down to just Barber. Jones has been a major disappointment. Thankfully Anderson has played well for most of the season.

On the original question I'd say Johnson, Parker and obviously the third is a bit of a tossup.
Cadallac - I have no faith in Tampa generating much offense at all in this game. One thing the Pats can do is stuff the run and I'd guess they dare Simms to wing it. Dillon - no bargain against the Tampa front, even minus Booger. Dunn - Atlanta has to have this game but play Tampa the following week. Low scoring I'd guess. I guess Dillon but you'll need the benefit of some luck in short and goal situations. Maybe if Brady is a little dinged they'll saddle up ole Corey and say win it.

Honolulu_Blue: Johnson, Williams, and Dillon.
BuffaloHuskey: Barber and Anderson. Stat-wise, Anderson ranks number #9 this week vs his matchup and Brown is next at #18. (Barber sits at #5)

Original: Johnson, Parker, and Dillon. Brady is supposed to be banged up. Parker should do decent. Johnson for sure.
Second question: Mike Anderson. He should get a score and nice yards. |

Brady is officially questionable, but if you know how BB coaches...
Well, I expect nothing but lies from him to any media sources. Lies I tell you!
