I just found this site and wanted your guys opinion about which version to get and if there is real players and teams named in the game or is there a download with the real info? I was a hugh fan of FOF and still play the version EA put out yrs ago but i want an updated game with updated rosters and features. Any info would be of great help!

pretty lame if it is. I would think that if somebody took the time to setup a new account, they would take equal time to post something more clever.

Course, it's strange that the guy has played the EA version of the game and just 'found out' about us.

At the risk of missing an inside joke ..

Welcome Aboard. Follow the link that Hugh ... er Hurst posted above to get a lot of questions answered on the new game which you can find at http://www.solecismic.com/. the link posted also contains links to some useful uitlities and other stuff. The biggest new feature is multiplayer support, but I think you'll find a lot of new features as well that make the latest version worth purchasing.

Just don't ask here what Jim is working on next. You have been warned.

Or perhaps better ... "why doesn't he tell us what he's working on so he can hype it?". That's usually worth a couple of pages of discussion or so.

If the last version you played was the EA one and you liked it ... then there's only one thing I can tell you: time to buy the latest version, you won't be disappointed.

If you have any specific questions about the newest version, just ask.

He has no time for that. He's in law enforcement.

If someone says they're in law enforcement, is that basically like code for rent-a-cop or security guard. I mean if someone's a policeman, wouldn't they just say I'm a policeman. Not that there's anything wrong with rent-a-cops, mind you but you'd think they'd have more time on their hands.

I am a Police officer and have been for yrs. Sorrry if i used some secret code that you miss understood. I was unaware what rent a cops claimed to be.

I would say it's a no brainer to get FOF 2004, and with the reduced price... it's REALLY a no brainer.

I play all kinds of football games, and FOF 2004 is still top notch, imo.

What he said. It's the most realistic football game out there, imo.

Hey man, just giving you some crap. Like I said if you have specific questions about the newest version just ask. It's been so long since the EA version, I for one don't recall all the changes from that one to the most recent.

You have to have a reasonably thick skin to stick around here (in case you haven't noticed) especially if you make spelling errors , but if you do stick around I'm sure you'll get all your FOF questions answered.
