OT: I JUST SLAYED MACROECONOMICS!
I 1.0wned that class.
Okay, so a 1.0 is a D - but damnit I didn't fail. Still, it's the hardest class I ever took. On our final exam, 110 people took it, and the class average out of 100 was 43. It was unreal. Yes, I know bragging about a 1.0 is stupid, but damnit, Macroeconomics sucks and I am glad it's over with. |

That's too bad. I really liked macroeconomics.

Don't they curve it? I took a Biology test where my raw score was like a 30-something on the first test, and I was still able to get an A in the class.

I got a curved B- in Calculus 171 at WSU, and I didn't have a freaking clue.

When I took Tax accounting in college, we had about 200 people in the class. The class average exam score was never over 40/100. They were open book exams as well.
Anyways, congrats I guess on killing Macroecon, Keynes would be proud.

I have attempted Economics 200 twice in college and both times dropped the class... way too boring/uninteresting/DIFFICULT!

Our Organic Chemistry class had an average of 37 on our exams (and was the major weed out class for the pre-med students.) That was the hardest class I ever took and was much harder than any of my actual medical school classes.
Edit: The point was I was so glad when that class was over, and remember the jubiliation of passing a very hard class. Congrats! ![]()

very similar here, maybe a C on one of them, despite scoring A's accross the board in other classes. Worst is, I really wanted to like it, but I hated the economics classes... heh... FM

Lord yes, I was a chemistry major for 2 years, and that was the class that convinced me to give it up. I still got a D, but combine that with an F (that I turned into a W) in Physics III and a barely C in Calculus III and... well, I was fried at the end of that semester.

No micro for me. I started as a business major but switched over to Com and Journalism so macro became just a gen ed.
Thank God I am done with that. |
