Thumbs up It's December 23rd and I'm...

Grilling some steaks outside as it was 55+ today, which of course makes it feel like 65 degrees.

Tonights menu for me and my 2 daughters:

Ribeye steaks done on the bar-b
fresh broccoli and cheese
Beef rice
Garlic Cheddar mashed potatoes

My wife isn't happy she's working tonight.

The warm weather has been awesome after that nasty cold spell we had here earlier this month.

Translation of menu:

Beef
Cheese
More Beef
More Cheese

That's not very vegetarian friendly. No wonder I wasn't invited.

Believe it or not, that makes me jealous too. I miss snow, which is unlikely to happen here in Louisiana for the next ohhh... 10 or 15 years.

oh, I don't really hate snow per se, it's just that this year's first and abundant snowfalls have come kind of early and with some really cold weather, as with most of North America as we all know. Thing is, we know that it's not because snow comes in mid-november that it will really leave a month early in the Spring... life goes on...

I don't like the warm spell ... the snow is melting, unveiling all the dirt and brown crap that was buried under a nice white blanket.

edit: Oh yeah, my huskies kind of like snow.

I'm enjoying th nice weather today, too. We're currently at 50 on the way up to 59. Better than the 30s in Iowa and Rockford the past weekend. The next few days have 2 in the 40s and rainy and then back to the 50s again. This is nice and warm, especially considering our freak snow earlier- we've already got around 10" of snow and in Kansas, that doesn't happen until January. Usually we're fighting off ice right now. Then again, we had a tornado over Thanksgiving weekend so this has just been a weird year for weather.
