Cam Cameron is being considered for head coach openings? CAM CAMERON?!?

The man only once even sniffed a winning season at IU with an 18-37 overall record (5-6 was his best year) despite having the most electrifying player in the NCAA at the time on his team (Antwaan Randle El). How can his name even be mentioned for head coaching jobs?

I'm sure he'll make a fine Div. III coach.

I was a bit surprised to see his name come up in the articles discussing Mike Sherman's replacement - but I suppose he's done a decent job as OC for San Diego.

I hope Parcells steps down and the Cowboys hire Cameron.

Maybe the Packers will replace Sherman with him. Thompson would show just how much of a genius he is as a GM.

I heard Cameron's name come up in passing when the Texans' vacancy was mentioned and had the exact same reaction.

His name has been out there for quite awhile, actually.

Going 5-6 at Indiana is roughly comparable to going 11-1 at Ohio State.

I know IU sucks at football, but one need only look at Bill Mallory to know that IU can be much better than they were under Cameron.

In 1987, Mallory became the first coach to be awarded back-to-back Big Ten coach-of-the-year honors. While at Indiana, Mallory led the Hoosiers to six bowl games including victories in the 1998 Liberty Bowl and the 1991 Copper Bowl. He also led IU to a top 20 ranking in 1988.

Why has nobody thought to embed a camera in Cam's headset/baseball cap/sun visor? Just think of the beauty of such a thing: it would allow us all to say the word "CamCamCam."

How awesome would that be?

That would be totally awesome.

Is his name really Cameron Cameron? That's some seriously unimaginative parents, even Boutros Boutros Galli got a different name thrown in there at the end.
