Do You Use The Fast Reply?

I added fast reply to the FOF Yellow style. If alot of people like it, I can add it to the rest as well.

So what exactly is the difference between a Fast Reply and a normal "old school" reply?

Just the need to click the reply button not being necessary any longer?

Well as far as the new Board Gadgets are concerned, this probably won't make many FOFC'ers Top 5.

I like the fast reply...very useful. But if its the same as the normal "old school" reply button, then why is the normal "old school" reply button still there?

Because the fast reply doesn't have all those fancy buttons above it so you can do the cool things with your message. (Plus no 'preview reply' button)

I would strongly recommend that whatever hack or cool features you come up with (keep them coming), you apply them equally to all style sets.

I could just set all styles to use the same template (template is the layout, styles is the colors and pretty images).. only problem is, I changed a few things to simply resemble the old FOFC (like move buttons to top, make the header no buttons, etc.) But I keep going back to red and yellow because of all of the advancements made.

What does everyone else think? It wouldn't be hard to change the header back to images for the rest of the forums.

I use it when I'm not quoting. I definitely dig it (as well as the other additions).

The "fast reply" feature is nice when you just want to make quick comments(like this), but I also like the more fleshed out way for longer msgs.
