I like the NFC personally, but the AFL's history is more fascinating.

We should strive for a society without conferences.

Despite their lackluster overall performance this year, I am a NFC guy for sure.

NFC all the way. Bears fan, plus you can't beat the divisional battles in the NFC East and the NFC Central. Everyone hates everyone in each division.

I used to be a huge NFC guy. But now I don't really care either way. This Superbowl kind of sucks in a way to me because I really like both of these teams.

AFC. Tought not to be when your team is there, and just most the interesting stories in the league I think.

AFC. That being said, if it was a Denver/Seattle or Denver/Carolina Superbowl, I'd pull for the NFC team.

I'm more disgusted with the AFC announcers since I watch more AFC games than NFC games, but I'm pretty sure the announcers are a wash. At this point in my life, I don't like the pre-game shows either. I flip on the TV at 1 p.m. and watch a game.

I always leaned toward the NFC, and once the Seahawks moved over I became NFC to the core.

yeah, what does that mean. All I get is that Cincy is the best but he's rooting for the NFC.

I support the 49ERS and so I'm an NFC guy all the way.
The AFC is more exciting these days, and in the SuperBowl I always wait to see which team I'll support, but in the big picture, I definitely consider myself an NFC guy.

I was an AFC fan as a kid, but moved towards the NFC as I grew up and now with Carolina, it's NFC for sure, though I'll be rooting for Pittsburgh because I never really liked Seattle much when I was an AFC fan.

Hmm, there are things I have liked through the years about both. I'm an Eagles fan now, but much of the rest of the NFC is bleh to me. In the early 80s I rooted for the Dolphins. I think at the time I probably watched more of the AFC, things like Dolphins/Jets, or the whole AFC West, the Oilers, etc. I think I liked them as a more colorful and vibrant conference. I think for whatever reason, I have had a much harder time watching the AFC since CBS took over their telecasts. As much as I liked the NFC on CBS, I really don't like their AFC broadcasts very much. Maybe I'm stuck in the 80s and 90s, but when I think AFC I still think Bob Costas, Dick Enberg, Charlie Jones, Marv Albert, heck even Bryant Gumbel. The other Gumbel, Nantz (ok commentator, but it just feels like I'm watching golf, though still not as boring as Greg), Simms, Marino, just one big ball of blah. At least they have Bonnie Bernstein I guess.

Hmm, all these complaints yet I still watch...

I'm more of an NFC fan, but it's not as pronounced as it was when I was younger.

I'm an NFC guy, but will be rooting for the Steelers in this SB since they were my granndfather's second favorite team behind the Eagles.

AFC all the way... unless the Raiders or Chiefs make the Super Bowl. I'm a little mad at the Steelers for knocking my Broncos out this year, but I hope they win it. After a week of being Public Enemy #1 here in western Pennsylvania, it's nice to be on their side now.

AFC. Not only is Denver in the AFC, but the NFC title game featured an expansion team and former AFC West team. Weeeeeeeeak.
