Maybe it was just a random banning. You know...a warning shot to let everyone know it can happen at any time.

Then again, if anyone had it coming...

Wow, impressive! In the span of mere minutes, curiousity is both piqued and satiated in one simultaneous fashion.

EDIT: ...and it's piqued again!

EDIT x2: ...and it's satiated.

What the bleep? WrongWay was responsible for bringing out the corruption of the FastFL. He can't be a bad guy....he just can't....can he? Probably missed another thread or something.

He also had just the most appropriate username.

Didn't WrongWay have another username before, but started up a new one to avoid detection from certain folks?

Or am I confusing him with somebody else?

I think you are thinking of someone formerly known as BigJohn&The Lions. That's not WrongWay. But then again, I don't know much about anyone on this board, so who knows.

I think it was the photos posted on the Jennifer Love Hewitt posing for playboy thread that put him in the box.

That was Jeeber. I remember seeing the Wrongway explaination. If I remember correctly, it wasn't for anything very serious, just being a generally lousy poster (paraphrased).

Ah. So he was banned for being a lousy poster. It all ended in that second Michelle Wie thread. Interesting. Though when I revise history he will be banned for his anti-Serenity/Firefly thread. Yes, that will do nicely.

That wasn't Jeeber. That was B&B who posted the JLH pic. Jeeber linked to something on a page, but they punished siphoning of bandwidth by turning his pic into tubgirl.

Didn't someone say that "Oilers-somerandomnumber" name was WW posting after he was boxed? That would be, of course, a permaban if caught.

Hmmm, guess not. Oilers-somerandomnumber is still a valid member...

Having the Wie thread right after the Serenity thread pretty much pushed me over the edge of annoyance with the guy. I look at this as a lifetime achievement banning.

He's from Texas and this is a football board, it could be he's thinking of the late Houston Oilers, and not the Edmonton variety (for whom of course 99 and 11 would be significant)
