RSS newsfeed alert sent to your email addy
Maybe it's only me but I just found a way to get some RSS newsfeed sent to me by email. Whenever you see a "My Yahoo!" icon on a news/blog page that allows you to add the RSS feed to your "My Yahoo!" page, you can decide to have an email alert sent to you whenever something is posted on the page.
For example, adding the following page: http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/sporton...n_town/rss.xml to "My Yahoo!" page would send me an email everytime a news item is posted in the Luton Town section of the bbc.co.uk site. NEAT!!! As I said, maybe this has existed forever and I'm just coming out from under my rock but I just found it and thought I'd share...  Of course, you need a Yahoo! account to be able to do that. Me, My Yahoo! is my homepage anyway... FM
