FOF RFA Question from Bangkok

I'm wondering what determines if a player will be a RFA or UFA at the end of the season? I know its tied to years in the league, but I don't know what the cutoff is. I'm trying to figure out which of my guys with 1 year left on contracts to resign before the end of the year. If they will only be RFA then I don't need to worry about it. If they will be unrestricted then I better resign them now or risk losing them.

I couldn't find anything on this in the help file or the links thread.

On a side note, I've been in Bangkok since the 1st of December with a quick trip home during the holidays. I'll be here for the rest of the year on a software development project. My travel plans are about 1 week home for every 3 weeks here. I know nobody really cares, but I thought I'd throw that out there in case we have any FOFCers in Bangkok. Carry on.

if a player becomes a free agent within his first three years, he'll be a restricted free agent.

I've heard that one year in Bangkok and the world's your oyster.

Er, night.

Reminds me of a joke we used to play on each other as kids.

You'd ask "What's the capital of China?"
They'd say "I don't know"
then you'd say "Bangkok" and punch them in the nuts.

You could say "Krung Thep" (the actual Thai name for the capital--shortened form, but that's another story) instead of "Bangkok" to throw them for a loop, but I suppose they would punch you in the nuts anyway for being a nerd...
