Angry AIM Triton

I am not sure how many people have this, but when I got my new computer and went to put AIM on it- the only version I could find was Triton. I must say- it sucks. I tried to set up forwarding with my phone, but that never seemed to work properly. It only shows people away about half the time, and now it is not showing me as away.

Is anyone else using this program? Is it just me having a bad experience, or is everyone finding that it is not nearly as good as the older version. I am now trying to find the old version (5.9) I believe until the knock all the kinks out of triton.
