I fully agree. That seems to be a problem with many Hollywood celebs as well. Maybe they need to have a more critical eye instead of listening to makeup "artists" telling them how fabulous they look?

"Where most skaters only skate to Romeo and Juliet, Cohen is Juliet." Her program looked pretty great and she has good artistry, but she muffed 2 makeable jumps and lost to the inferior Japanese girl who skated a clean program, but not one significantly as hard as Cohen's. She ditched the triple/triple combo at the last moment cause she knew she didnt need it.

I assume the over-the-top makeup is there for the judges, not for the home viewers. It's like stage makeup.
