WBC: Cuba vs Panama

Exciting game. I was skeptical on this thing but it's been fun. That kid on Cuba who has 4 RBI is awesome. He'll be in the MLB soon, once he defects.

For those not watching. 6-5 Cuba, bottom of the 9th, bases juiced with 1 out for Panama with Carlos Lee up.

And Lee K's.

The top of the 9th saw a massive bomb to give Cuba a 6-4 lead but the pitching for both teams has been awful, as well as Cubas baserunning, thus it's 6-5.

6 total HBPs today. But baseball is baseball so I'm watching. It beats a ST game.

Gurriel (SP)? the Cuban 2B is phenominal. He has their 4 RBI. Wow. Get him in Bigs NOW.

He makes a nice catch to send it to the 10th.

2 drop third strikes. one batter reaches first, but then Cuba flies out. so 1 on, 2 outs for Cuba in the 10th

1-2-3 for Panama.

Cuba has 9 - 1 - 2 coming up in the 11th. This 2nd basemen of theirs could make it up if they get some hits, I'd suggest turning it on to see him. He's so damn good.

The un-intentional intentional walk to Gourriel with 2 outs and 1 on.

I'm all for my country but man that Adam Stern kid is good. I'm glad to see him do well...I just wish he'd do it against someone else.
