Oregon Ducks Basketball 2001
Does anyone know if there is a picture of the Oregon basketball team from 2001 on the internet somewhere?
In a rec league championship game tonight I had the duty of trying to slow down a kid that was about 6'9" who said he played for Oregon 5 years ago. I want to look and see if he was really on the team. I googled, but didn't find anything. |

If this isn't a parody thread, it should be.

If you know the guy's name, you can look through the various photos from their media guide and see if he's in there: http://www.nmnathletics.com/download...&DB_OEM_ID=500

Only 2 bigs I know of on the 2001 roster, but both were starters. One is Julius Hicks, an unspectacular blue-collar sort of guy. Can't find any pictures.
The other is Flo Hartenstein, though it looks like he now plays in Europe. http://www.giessen46ers.de/giessen/2...n01_a_Bonn.jpg

No, we lost. The first half I (and the other guy that was guarding him) did pretty well. When I came in he went to the perimeter but missed his shots and we were down four at the break. In the second half he hit 6 straight 3 pointers to help them pull away for the win. Our best player was missing, but even with him we probably still would have lost since we had no answer for a guy that size that can also play outside. |
