Season 1 of the New DR. Who starts this friday on the Sci-Fi channel!

I am excited. I have not seen the good doctor since my youth, but still have fond memories of those days. Kind of sucks that the New doctor only sticks around for the first year and is already replaced for season 2.

Time to get that flying phone booth, call box, back on the road.

I watched it on Canadian TV last year, and it was quite good.

Dola - For you Who fans out there, the series really starts getting good with episode four. The sexual tension between Rose and Eccleston as the Doctor is amazing, and Captain Jack is a great companion with some classic lines.

I've seen the season and did like it quite a bit. Eccleston is great.

Isn't that part of the deal? Doctor Who changes in each incarnation?

Yes, but not every year.

or

The actor playing the Doctor quit after the first year and they have already replaced him for season 2.
