I heard Fran Friscilla on the Mike & Mike Show this morning and he had Seton Hall going to the Sweet 16. Then again, he also had Duke over BC in the National Final.

It always makes a guy feel extra special when he hasn't watched one second of college basketball all year and nails the first game with the upset pick.

Umm, Seton Hall losing isn't an upset pick. They're the 10 seed.

Yeah I just noticed this. Ok, my bad. Hey, but it's still Wichita State.

Seton Hall, Oklahoma and Boston College can kiss my mid-major ass.

So can Billy Packer. And ThunderingHerd. I'm calling you out, big boy!

Yeah, no kidding, but at least I had Seton Hall losing second round so this won't kill me.

At the last minute, I put down Winthrop to beat Tennessee, but short of that, I don't have a ton of fluke picks. So far, I'm 3-0 though...which is probably more games than I ever choose right in the first round of most years.

I picked Witchita. I don't know anything about Oklahoma or Wisconsic Milwaukee. BC won.

Anyway, it's one game--good teams can lose to weaker teams. Kind of like medicocre MVC teams in the tourney can lose to Alaska Anchorage. Upsets happen. And they'd happen a lot more if you didn't give shitty mid-major teams spots that could go to legitimate threats like FSU or Maryland.

Whatever dude. I'm just checking in real quick so I don't have time to discount your idiocy, but you're flat wrong.

You think I'm an idiot and you call FSU and Maryland "legitimate threats."

Those two schools weren't event legitimate threats to win their conference tournaments.

Correction, to win more than a game in their conference tournaments.

It's a relative term. You don't have to be that good to look legitimate compared to Bucknell.

As for the conference tournament, I guess you thought the same thing about Syracuse.

The difference is, Maryland and FSU proved him right.

Mid-majors suck...did anyone see the games so far today? They're really sucking it bad and show that only big conferences deserve ALL bids (at-large and automatic) to the tournament
