Thumbs up Awesome juggling performance!

Wow! I haven't seen anything like this before. This guy does a juggling act synchronized to the medley from Abbey Road. You definitely need sound to fully enjoy this clip.

Jason Garfield is one of the better jugglers in the world. He also is quite a jerk. I think it is mostly for show that he acts like a jerk, but he sure is convincing most of the time. Anyway, part of his schtick, if you will, is to point out how easy most juggling routines that crowds like are. He rails on these types of routines any chance he gets. Just check out his website some time.

Anyway, Garfield came across this Bliss performance and, well, you should just see for yourself.

Read this:

Then watch this:

Personally, I love Jason Garfield.

EDIT
Ah so many hits they had to move the video: Try this instead:

I guess the next step is seven balls at a time

You know what occurred to me while reading that guy's "bliss diss" - it's like reading threads here about the relatively worth of text-sim games. Not necessarily Maximum Football, because there's no way one could reasonably suggest Daivd didn't "drop the ball" numerous times. But at one point, I just stopped reading and said to myself, "But it was entertaining, I don't care about the technique of it." Critiquing is fine, but sometimes all that matters is whether we enjoy it.

I read it the same way. I guess a comparison would be like the differences between compulsories and free skate in the Olympics. One is to show technique, and the other is for pure entertainment.

garfield is clearly a better juggler, but his diss reads like BabboonHeart talking about his RPGs. What an asshole.

This is something I've run into in the improv world. It seems the less people care about a particular skill the more competition and backbiting there is. Garfield is a little pathetic when he wishes that everyone knew as much about juggling as he does. He fails to understand that less than a few dozen people care to know anything about juggling.

No kidding. I think it's incredibly funny that a juggling snob even exists.

The thing I love is that Jason Garfield is doing this whole thing for show, also. You can appreciate what he is doing on the obvious level, but you can also appreciate it because it fits in perfectly with his whole "show" persona that he puts out there--that of the arrogant, amazing juggler. Anyway, I understand Chris's video and its appeal. I liked it, too. I'm a long-time fan of Jason Garfield, though, too. I think you have to kind of know him to realize why this video is actually funnier than Chris's video is showy.

This East Coast/West Coast juggling war is getting out of control. I just hope it doesn't go too far.

On a seperate note, that medley from the B side of Abbey Road is one of my favorite music pieces of all time, so I'm sure that had something to do with the overall enjoyment of the video.

Exactly. I mean, I appreciate his knowledge and he clearly demonstrates how good he is at juggling, but his criticism comes off like Roger Ebert telling me in technical terms why some run-of-the-mill comedy is such an awful movie as a piece of art, to which my response would be, "But it made me laugh."
