PS3 Preorder date?

I doubt anyone knows yet, but I was just wondering if anyone has any info on when PS3 preorders will begin.

I read on IGN boards that they'll most likely be available around E3. They don't have a SKU yet to do the preorder.

You may want to go into your local game stores and ask them. I know that a couple stores around here are doing "unofficial" lists where they take your name, number, and just put the deposit onto your account, and when they can officially order it, that list of people will get on the list first.

I know that Gamecrazys already have started their pre-ordering, and most stores are already taking orders for second shipment.
