No shit. I'm not happy about it either. I meant to check Wal-Mart last time we went.

Good riddance. To me, it tastes like alcohol. Which is fine if I am drinking alcohol, but not when I want a soda.

The new Black Cherry Vanilla Coke is crazy delicious, though.

I thought I saw some Diet Vanilla Coke at Wal-Mart SuperCenter SnDvl, but I could be wrong. I'll have to check again on my next trip.

Are you referring to regular or diet?

Regular.
All the stores I've been to in Chandler/Gilbert & Some in Scottsdale are out.

I don't like cherry coke so the black cherry vanilla thing just won't do for me.
I actually have two 12 packs so I guess I just have to make a vanilla coke a treat for me sometimes.

if you are really desperate, you can order from Dr Soda (http://store.drsoda.com/index.html)

shipping costs are pretty high though.

Just add a tiny bit of vanilla extract to a regular coke and you'll be fine. I do this with Diet Coke all the time.

my wife keeps telling me this too, I'm just a lazy ass and don't want to have to add vanilla to it. I actually hate coke in general and perfer the taste of Pepsi out of a can or bottle, but perfer coke from fast food joints ect.

last week when my wife was out trying to find some vanilla coke for me she actually talked to a coke represenative who told us they were pulling it from North America. Once she told him that was all I drank he said to her with a smile "I lost a customer didn't I" I got a good laugh out of it.

I'll survive, I guess I can try Pepsi Vanilla, or just do it the old fashioned way.

I don't know, but in Santa Fe, you can buy Zima. I hadn't seen that anywhere in YEARS - I assumed they had stopped making it.

I can probably find it out here in Utah, let me know if you want to, and I will get a bunch for you.

Wow... that Coca-Cola BlaK kind of intimidates me. Maybe it's the captial "K" at the end.

What about the veiled racism in this product? Will there be a Coca-Cola WhĪt?

Just tasted the Tab energy drink - surprisingly it's good! Much better than Red Bull which I always found kind of bitter/sour...this doesn't taste like Tab at all, has a crisp almost fruity flavor. It has a little bit of an aftertaste, especially as it loses the icy coldness and gets a little warm, but I'll definitely drink these and buy them again

Over all, two thumbs up

Yeah, I have them do this at Steak n Shake. Not that we have them here, but back when I was in IL and could go regularly.

In many ways, Vanilla Coke and Cherry Coke are polar opposites. Coke plus Vanilla fountain syrup is the bomb. Pre-Packaged Vanilla Coke tastes awful. Pre-packaged/mixed Cherry Coke is the best stuff on earth, but adding grenadine or some other cherry syrup to coke does not taste good at all. Somehow I thought that *maybe* the black cherry vanilla coke would be the happy tweener of both, and taste crazy delicious. However it does not.

If you have them, go to a Big Boy restaurant. Order a Coke with vanilla syrup. Yum.

I would refer you to the Krispy Kream Burger thread or the searching for the McRib thread.

This totally reminds me of Maxx Barry's book Syrup for whatever reason.

Yeah - those were both great threads, however since there is nothing to make, nothing to search for, and I've already tasted it and rated in...not sure it would be a very entertaining dynasty

I've never had a Tab energy drink, but my favorite energy drink is SoBe Adrenaline Rush... that stuff just kicks man.
