OT: Fantasy Baseball Question

Does anyone have a good source for game day lineups? I have Ryan Freel on one of my fantasy teams and the Reds have been frustratingly inconsistent with starting him so far. I haven't been able to find a good source to tell me if he will be starting on a given day or not and thought you guys might know of something like that. Thanks.

I think for the most part Freel starts against lefties, but I'm unsure of a good gameday lineup source. www.fantasybaseballcafe.com has a great forum related to fantasy baseball with thousands of people participating.

I have Freel and he has been starting v lefties..

I like fantasy baseball but, that is why I prefer leagues that don't have bench players. Removes alot of this speculation and you just play your team as is..

fantasybaseballcafe is ok but, drives me up a wall sometimes. Seems most of the talk is around the no-brainers.. "OMG, Pujols dropped, should I pick him up?!?!?!?" or it revolves around 11 player trades.

In the small amount of playing time he has had so far he is tied for 2nd in the league in runs scored, leading the league in stolen bases, and has the highest OBP of any player with at least 10 at bats. Our league is a R/HR/RBI/SB/OBP league. As of right now he is the 12th ranked player in the league. Not to mention he qualifies at 3 different positions.

So I would say there likely isn't a better option on the waiver wire.

mlb.com posts gameday lineups ~30-60 minutes before the start.

dola - I just thought to myself, I'm an idiot, I got confused with Brady Clark.

Ryan Freel deserves to be on your team. You have my seal of approval.

Yeah I was just giving you trouble. Honestly if he is only going to start against lefties I am going to have to do something there. I have Luis Castillo too, but I am not thrilled with him as my every day option. Stupid Womack having such a good spring.

Forget Freel, Ryan and grab that new masher the Reds acquired named Arroyo, Bronson.

Both HR against the Cubs, both in the third inning.

I'm almost certain the next time he faces the Cubs and bats in the third, he's getting walked.

If you are playing a Yahoo league, Yahoo generally does the same.

Shameless post for the sake of truth and accuracy in the 'consecutive thread hilarity' thread

I was so pissed when Freel was dropped in my ESPN league and the guy with one waiver priority ahead of me got him. Sigh...
